BCA (Bachelor of Computer Application)

Course Structure (Duration: 3 Years)

A Bachelor in Computer Application (BCA) is a three year undergraduate program that teaches the use of computer applications and basic concepts of IT. IMS offers full time BCA degree course which is UGC recognized and affiliated to CCS University that makes it valid everywhere. The duration of the course is three years which is divided into six semesters. BCA is one of the most popular courses amongst the students who wish to build their careers in IT and software where they can work as a programmer or a software developer. We have designed and structured the program with intent to provide our students an in-depth knowledge about information technology with the core concepts of management. The curriculum includes the subjects like data structure, networking, database, core programming languages like Java and C++. This enables our students to make their mark in the IT industry by being on the top of the management hierarchy. IMS also focuses on providing the much needed exposure to its students by imparting the practical knowledge in well equipped computer labs apart from the classrooms.
