Event: Guest Lecture on “China becoming the Sole Global Superpower in 2052: Managing with a strategy”

The School of Management, IMS Noida, organized an interaction of students of IMS Noida with an International Delegation comprising of 2 professors and 12 MBA students from Stillman Business School, Seton Hall University, USA. The session was chaired by Dr. A. D. Amar, a tenured full Professor of Management from Stillman Business School who is also a consultant & trainer and has taken assignments in public/private undertakings in US, India, Poland, Russia and UK.
The topic of his interaction was “China becoming the Sole Global Superpower in 2052: Managing with a Strategy”. During his interaction he shared the research outcomes of his study on China and the model of China’s Strategy to achieve this goal. He shared that China would be a global leader by 2052 and that China wants the 21st century to be China’s Century. He discussed the Da Tong concept which talks about peaceful and mutually beneficial development. He opined that China might control more than 30% of Global GDP.
He also discussed the Trilogy of China; first step to make Chinese people moderately well-off and step into middle income economies; second to accomplish complete comprehensive modernization and become high income country in the world; third to attain sole superpower status by 2052 and wants to achieve the great rejuvenation of the Chinese nation by 2099.
Lastly, he discussed about the model of the roadmap to become a great superpower. He later responded to the queries put forth by the students.
Dr. J P Sharma, Director Academics and Research during his address welcomed all the distinguished guests and students to IMS and also discussed at length about the business opportunities available to foreign nationals for setting up a business in India. He also shared the various schemes of the Government for ease of doing business in India.
